Support the Farm: Trade Quality Homesteading Supplies

At Z8Z Eggs, we're a small family farm working to grow sustainably. Along with cash payments, we welcome fair trades of high-quality homesteading supplies in exchange for our farm-fresh eggs, sourdough bread, and butter. It helps us expand while keeping our products available to neighbors and fellow homesteaders.

Accepted trade items (full units only)

• T-111 plywood siding — full sheets
• Hardware cloth — full rolls, 4 ft high, 19-gauge or equivalent; 25, 50, or 100 ft lengths
• Pressure-treated 4×4 posts — 8, 10, 12, or 16 ft lengths
• Animal feed & bedding — Purina Egg Pellet Max, Purina All Flock, scratch grains, and pelletized bedding for horses and small animals (the types we already stock for our operation)

How we value trades

Trades are valued at current retail prices for fairness—we'll reference typical pricing from suppliers you know (farm supply, lumber yard, big-box) and show the math up front. Your credit can go toward eggs, bread, butter, or a mix, and can be spread over time if that works better for you—for example, a roughly $100 full roll of hardware cloth might credit toward about twenty dozen eggs (or a combination of products) as we agree together.

How it works

1. Tell us what you have (photos help).
2. We'll quote fair trade value against our products before anything changes hands.
3. We confirm pickup or drop-off and keep it straightforward—usually a quick text recap.
